Angry Bird Pau in 2011

On Labour Day 2011, I made my first attempt on doing "Pau". Starting with pumpkin
filling, I met failure as my pau's filling is terrible. Yet, I still manage to make these Kitty Pau, Panda Pau, Porcupine Pau and Piggy Pau.


On the next day, 2 May 2011, I came across with Angry Bird Pau!! Haha! A funny and happy project to do. I personally play the games. It improves my heartbeat so that I don't need to go for exercise. :D

As we know, colouring is not a good thing to consume. So, I just wrap it as skin and deco. The inner pau still plain white with corn custard. This batch of pau is the successful one.


After wrapping the filling, proof for 15 minutes, they are ready for steaming.


Ten..ten....ten...ten..... here they are.
Angry birds series comes with wood breaker(red), glass jaw(blue), Kamikage (black) and their enemy Pig!

Spinach Bun in 2010


Time flies. Since last school holiday in 2010, I really didn't have time to update my blog here.

Yesterday, when my colleague shows me some fondant cupcakes. It reminds me to update my blog here.

On 29 Dec 2010, I baked spinach buns with corn filling. Long time never bake my bread. After school opened in Jan, I was too busy with school activities. Hope I can get into my hobby in this coming June 2011's school holiday.

My sister's wedding cupcakes

I baked 108 cupcakes with fondant icing decoration on top for my sister's birthday.
It was a big day to share the happiest time together with our relatives.

Cupcakes are made to serve the uncles and aunts after tea giving ceremony. We don't have many relatives so each of them including the children also can get a cupcake each.

I tried to make that day a wonderful day. Indeed, it was.

但愿人长久,千里共婵娟。

Pullman tin Wholemeal bread

My first pullman tin for wholemeal bread

The ingredients include wheat bran which contains nutrition and dietary fiber. With a slice or two in the morning, you really can feel the fullness after the noon.

I like to eat with peanut butter n chocolate. It tastes good in this way.
